Updates

I am having major problems with posting pics right now so I will continue our week up north later and just do some updates.

Peter

* He starts pre-school next Monday. I have parent orientation tonight and he gets to meet his teacher & see his class on Friday. We are extremely excited and so is he.

*He acts like a monkey jumping and rolling off of anything he can get some height from.

*Talks to me more than I can get a word in with him. Naturally, he's nosey & interested in everything.

*Good big brother and has a lot of patience, but that is wearing thin especially when Kiersten keeps hitting him.

*Very smart, loves books and his learning books (pre-school & kindergarten). Just needs to listen more and think before he speaks (which is hard b/c he has so much he wants to say) b/c no one can understand him when he speaks all jumbled up.

*Caught a few bad words from his Uncle (36yrs old) and big cousin when he was up north (I'm going to kill you and Dang it). The words were not used in a harmful text, but Peter has decided to say "I'm going to kill you" if he doesn't get his way. We're working on it since we do not tolerate specific words. Spankings & timeouts and plenty of them.

*Extreme Klutz

*Has been having a hard time sleeping the whole night in his room. He usually shows up on the floor of our bedroom around 4am.

Kiersten

*Knows her body parts, ears, hair, head, chin, cheeks, eyes, nose, fingers, toes and tummy.

*Running all over the place, there's no such thing as walking anymore.

*Has been saying words for some time including, Mama, Dada, duck, ball, dog, cat. Mostly, she's a screamer when she gets excited about something.

*Can be aggressive. I'll take a hit, slap, body slam or something being thrown at me daily. I have had some minor wounds, but I am trying to be understanding that she can't fully communicate and gets frusturated easily. However, I will give her little slaps back on the hand if she slaps me first.

*Everything that is Peter is also her's. We're working on the sharing part.

*A great sleeper. 2-3hr nap during the day and still sleeps from about 9:30pm to 8am.

*Loves all foods or will at least try it.

*Wants to do whatever the big kids are doing!
