Pictures from this week!
We went to the mall last Sunday for playtime. Peter was in the jungle gym so its difficult to get him to slow down for pictures. Kiersten played in the little kids area, then rode the firetruck and just played. On Wednesay, Peter's pre-school class (am and pm) went on a field trip to a nature center here in the area. It was a lot of fun. We were part of an interactive presentation about how people and animals use their 5 senses. We took a short hike outside to look at animals and their habitats. We saw a toad and a box turtle & we saw some beautiful, but stuffed animals. The nature center also had a huge hands on area which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Outside the window, we saw 6 deer feeding and a bunch of fat squirrels eating & some fighting!

Finally, I can post pictures! I have been trying all day.
Last month I spent a week in Traverse City visiting my family. We didn't get out too much since everyone was working & my nephew was in school during the day. The weekend we went home, we took the kids out to play indoor glow mini golf. Kiersten loved it & had pretty good aim...she also kept trying to steal other people's balls.

"I can do it myself Daddy!"
The best seat in the house is the view from the top when you get tired of walking.

Last Sunday we spent the day outside since the weekend was so nice here. We went to a local Metro Park & played outside for a little bit. Since it was a little windy & wet, we headed indoors to the nature center.

"cheese!"
They have these classrooms with activities where you can just go in and do different things like puzzles, coloring, puppet shows etc...

Peter is a puzzle whiz. He can put together a 100 piece (small piece) puzzle together in no time!
Monday, the kids decided to show each other a little love. One minute they are hugging and kissing, the next they are fighting like cats & dogs!
Tuesday's weather was our 70+ degree weather. We went out in the backyard and played a little bit. Kiersten tried to 'mow' the lawn & both enjoyed kicking the soccer balls around. We were even greeted by the neighboring dogs, Storm (the beagle), Sparks & Pinky (the pugs).
"Look mommy, no hat!"

After naptime/quiet time, we headed to a local elementary school in the afternoon to play. Since I was playing too, I couldn't take a lot of pictures b/c I was too busy helping the kids swing and going down the slide with Kiersten.

Hope you enjoyed us!

We're still alive...
I'm going to post some new pics soon, I just got over a sinus/head cold last week and have been fairly busy. We celebrated our 2 yr wedding anniversary on March 4th, we had kindergarten roundup for the new school year last Tuesday, I had another followup appt with my endocrinologist last Fri & just everyday stuff. Blogger also isn't very user-friendly these days for me! The kids have been great & growing like weeds! We spent some time outdoors this past weekend since it was beautiful out. We purchased Borat and enjoyed it even though it was offensive sometimes. We also purchased United 93 (always sad, but good to remember) and for the kids, Land Before Time, to add to their collection. Pete & I played Monopoly for the first time in years Saturday night & I won, he went bankrupt, but I had a lot of cash & assets & kicked his butt! Springing forward 1hr hasn't been too nice on the kids' sleep schedules either! Meanwhile, I am planning a joint birthday party for the kids (Peter turns 5yrs old on 3/26 & Kiersten turns 2yrs old on 4/18 already!) so we we are looking forward to that!
