Today's My 30th Birthday!!! And Random Pictures

I'm not here a lot anymore, its been tough to keep up with it and honestly...Facebook is more fun! I've been doing that for a month now and have reunited with so many people including my 3rd grade teacher! So, I'm not completely sure I am going to keep this up anymore....the kids just keep me really busy and this summer has been a crazy one!

Pete came home late Friday night for the weekend so the kids were already sleeping. Rocky got to greet Pete & if she could talk...she'd say, "oh boy, oh boy, Daddy's home!" Rocky was practically dancing all over the place & trying to crawl up his leg to get patted. The kids woke up to see Daddy home and were very happy!

Saturday, we took the kids to see their first movie in a theater...Kung Fu Panda is really cute. I can't wait to buy it to add to our DVD collection. We dropped Peter off at a friend's birthday party and Pete, Kiersten & I took a couple of hours to go do some shopping. We went & picked Peter up from the party so we could go out to dinner. We then went to the mall to do some more shopping and came home to enjoy my ice cream birthday cake!

I had so many well wishers, it was nice. Two of brothers called me first thing this morning too (8:20 est and 7:30 cst) so they wouldn't forget. I spoke with my mom and many of my friends emailed me as well! Now that I am 30yrs old, I can still feel great that I look 18, well, more like 25!

Fell asleep in her timeout chair, granted she was supposed to be there only 3mins, but she needed a nap anyway!Last Wednesday, Peter had his first concert at school.
Pete came home for Memorial Weekend and we spent Saturday at the Zoo.
Took a few pictures yesterday for Peter's scrapbook. Last day of school is June 12th already!

A Little Prayer for Pete

This is the 23rd anniversary of his mom's passing from breast cancer. She was also buried on her birthday, May 6th which makes it extra hard for him.

Pictures from Kiersten's Birthday Weekend!

Good Morning Birthday Girl! Our Sleeping Beauty! She crawled into our bed and actually slept with us, comfy for her, not for me! Kiersten has NEVER slept in bed with us (we have the kids trained that way), but she also never wanted to either so this was a strange request.


After waiting what felt like hours, Pete finally got home from work and we ran out to have a quick dinner at Applebees for Kiersten's b-day dinner. It was alright, but since we were starving it was the closest restaurant.

Saturday...off to Chuck E. Cheese! We had a blast and spent over 2 hours there eating pizza, fries and just playing!
Finally home....Cake Time! We're still eating cake, but its really yummy!
