We're Back!

We have been super busy the past week. I'll post some pictures later.

Since Memorial Day Weekend was in the 90's with major humidity, we tried to stay inside as much as possible. We did go swimming on Memorial Day at Kensington Park(a metro park). We also took the kids to Indian Springs(another metro park) and they have this new cool area. Its a large padded area where sprinklers shoot out of the ground so we all played in it including Kiersten. She loves the water. I finally bought a new bikini, I still have to work on my stomach (its a little soft)!!!!

Pete had Memorial Day week off so we were up in Traverse City from Wed through Sunday. We had done a lot of spring cleaning and had planned a yard sale at my parent's house. The yard sale bombed big time so we donated everything to the local goodwill and will get our tax break for it next year. My brother, Pong, came up with his family so we got to see little Dianne (who will turn 1 on June 29). She was a little under the weather, but is so cute. She's getting really long and will probably be taller like her dad (Pong is 5ft 11 3/4 inches). My brother's not quite step-daughter is working at our other brother (CJ) fiancee's nail salon shop which is in Traverse City, so they came up to drop her off for the summer. Hope it all works out.

My brother, CJ, and his fiancee just closed on their new home yesterday. Its a newly built home, but they claim its a bi-level. Its a large ranch with a huge basement (potential if finished). The house is in a new subdivision with houses being built all over so there are not a lot of neighbors and no friends for my nephew yet. They still have to do all the landscaping so they won't be able to enjoy the yard until next year.

We got back on Sunday happy to be home. We haven't totally unpacked yet, but it usually takes me a few days anyway.
