We have to go shopping tonight for a wedding gift. We are going to a wedding reception tomorrow (kids too) for a friend of Pete's from work. They actually eloped last year, but having an informal reception at one of the metro parks here.
On Sunday, we are heading up to New Baltimore for a high school graduation party for one of Pete's cousin's daughter. It's hard to believe that its been 10 yrs for me & 11yrs for Pete since we graduated from high school. We got Renee Dr. Suess's, "Oh the places you will go" which I think is a great gift for a graduate and we'll give her a check as well.
Then I have to clean, clean the house!!! My family is coming Monday night for an appointment they have in Detroit on Tuesday. I'll never hear the end of it from my mom if the house isn't immaculate!!! haha
On another note, keep Pete's Uncle Ron in your prayers. We found out almost 2 weeks ago that he had been in the hospital for 9days (before the family told anyone). He had radiation for prostate cancer a few years ago & that caused a type of blood cancer. His kidneys have now completely failed, they found cancer in his throat and spots on his lungs. At this time, the family does not want any visitors, so we sent a card, but it is hard staying on the sidelines. We have no updated news and do not know what will happen.
